Photography is about capturing more than what's in front of your eyes. It's about catching an atmosphere, a mood, a style, an emotion and so much more.

But one thing it should never be is intimidating or daunting. We firmly believe this and understand that, whatever the event or subject, those involved appreciate a friendly, uncomplicated approach that brings out the best in everyone.

As a husband and wife team we know that when you are comfortable with the people you are working with the images reflect this and the results are elevated to something out of the ordinary and extra special.

We want to combine for you a relaxed and straight forward approach together with the highest standards of care and attention to detail that recording your important moments deserve. In a nutshell: we want you to love the experience from beginning to end.

Whether you want to capture the personalities of your entire clan or just the tiniest, newest edition to your family, a photographic portrait is a wonderful way to celebrate the people and relationships that you cherish.

Don't be put off if your only previous brush with portrait photography was looking the wrong way in your school photo, this is different.' Our portraits are all about bringing out the essence of people. Whether it's a spontaneous series with your family in your own home or a timeless classic in our studio, we will be discussing your ideas with you every step of the way.

And don't be put off by the fear of cost. We want you to feel confident that you know what you can expect for your money.

We charge £95 for a shoot in and around Fife. This price includes our 5 best pictures printed up to 8 by 10 inches. After the shoot we can also arrange for images to be produced in a variety of presentations, including on canvas, printed at your desired size – please contact us if you would like a quote.

Your wedding will be one of the most memorable and special days of your life and the photographs taken on the day will be the most important record you have of it. We know they have to be perfect.

But let's not get too starry-eyed just yet. We all know that weddings have to come in on budget and there are far too many suppliers out there ready to talk you into spending more than you ever thought possible. We were once in your position too!

We have put together a package that we think offers what most modern and discerning brides and grooms are looking for from their wedding images. By offering this, we can let you see from the start what you will get and at what price.

the perfect package:

• Well before your big day we'll invite you over to our studios so we can get to know you, hear about your vision for your wedding images and take an engagement portrait.
• On the wedding day itself we'll capture the build up to the ceremony with shots of the venue, flowers, cars or of the bride and groom's final preparations.
• The most important bit – the ceremony! We'll discreetly ensure that the memorable moments are recorded in beautiful photographs.
• Let the fun begin. We'll ensure that the key aspects of your day, from the speeches right up until your first dance, are captured for ever.
• After it's all over. You can look forward to leafing through our selection of the best shots to choose your favourites for your album.
• Ever after… you will have a beautifully presented wedding album of your chosen 50 photographs to keep forever.

The total price of our perfect package for those getting married in or around Fife is £850, including the wedding album.

If you are getting married further afield or would like to tweak the package slightly to suit your requirements, just get in touch and we will be happy to talk to you about your ideas and whether we can keep the package at the same or similar price for you.

However, you may have a bit more leeway in your budget and have some more definite ideas of your own, in which case we can tailor your wedding photography to suit your needs exactly. It may be that you would like us to stay for longer, travel further or simply that your wedding is a bit out of the ordinary and you need a photographer who can accommodate that. We would be happy to meet with you, hear about your big day and your requirements and put together a package and pricing structure for you.
